Burmese Command Elephant

I know it is not chariot period but did not want to start another blog. The next best thing on a wargames table has to be elephants. Here is one of the new Curteys new 28mm Medieval Burmese. Great start to an interesting new range. Burmese armies had sometimes had 2000 elephants in their armies!!!

    Nice command elephant Colin! I have some of the 1st Corps resin elephants and they're huge.

    That looks excellent! Sure made me want to re-watch some of Chatrichalerm's films (regardless of how heavily inaccurate the later Naresuan episodes are).

    Thanks guys . it will more exciting when elephants with side planks are released and deciding just how many crew to squeeze on.
